You have to try the Almost Got ‘Im Batman card game!

You have to try the Almost Got ‘Im Batman card game!

Image result for batman almost got im

The packed with action Batman franchise has been delivering proper entertainment for decades. It is
full of mysteries, riddles and puzzles to be solved. The elements of card games are also very
common, mainly due to the mischievous actions of Joker and his crew. The Almost Got ‘Im card game from Cryptozoic Entertainment is another great proposition for Dark Knight’s fans that combines some of the best things about our favorite hero.

For the time being, it is hard to find a typical, commercially offered online game with Batman-related
motives among various regular and mobile poker sites. Although, we did find this peculiarproposition from Indonesia. Instead, for all the Bruce Wayne’s, I mean Batman’s, supporters, as well
as everyone who enjoys a nice board game once in a while, there just might be something pretty cool
worth checking out. Batman The Animated Series: Almost Got 'Im Card Game falls under the category of social deduction card games similar to Mafia and Werewolf, with a little extra power up brought by poker action.

The idea came from the iconic cartoon, more specifically from one of its most popular episodes. In
this exciting piece of animation, the infamous villains of Gotham City get together for a quiet poker
night. At this peculiar slumber party, five bad guys – Joker, Two-Face, Penguin, Killer Croc and Poison Ivy – share their stories about how close they were to catch or execute their archenemy. However, and I cannot stress that enough: spoiler alert, they don’t know that one of them is our own Caped Crusader himself, and the whole thing is a sting operation to trick Joker into revealing the location of recently captured Catwoman, in attempt to save her from the unfortunate fate.

Such a captivating premise is exactly the basis for the card game introduced in 2017. Among five to
eight players there is one Batman in disguise who has to subdue a required number of villains to win
the game. The rest tries to vote him down and win by figuring out who he is. The elements of poker
are used here to moderate players’ special abilities. All characters involved in a game have their
signature moves and more powerful abilities they can use once in a gameplay. They correspond to
the characteristics of Gotham’s villainsImage result for batman almost got im
For example, Penguin, being a crooked businessman involved in shady deals, can draw two cards
from the pile and then give one to a player of his choice while keeping the other. The Riddler is able
to get some intel on the opposition by naming the value – the others have to admit how many cards
of that value they have. Those kinds of things can be used to achieve some advantage or cloud the
judgement of other players. To activate special powers, one has to acquire specific poker hand.

There are no small parts in the game as everyone’s input is vital and can really affect the outcome.
Discussing cards shifting from place to place, players building their hands, and of course, looking for
the Batman, makes moving forward to the final conclusion all the more fun.

Would Batman Gamble in Gotham?

Would Batman Gamble in Gotham?

Bruce Wayne, or Batman came from money. A lot of money. In fact, Forbes calculated that
the Wayne enterprises has an annual revenue of 31.3 billion dollars, while Bruce Wayne is
worth 9.2 billion.

Although Batman is all about fighting the bad out of Gotham, do you think he was ever
tempted to spend his money in other ways? Sure it must feel good to build a hospital with
your hard earned money but what about that temptation of careless spending?

With all the corruption that goes on in Gotham, there must be some underground poker
rooms or casinos? Yet, it would be totally out of Bruce Wayne’s character to partake in
illegal activities.

However, the question arises out this? Has Bruce Wayne ever gambled?

How Batman Could Gamble

Since Bruce Wayne is known to donate to charity, there is the possibility of a for charity
casino night. Raising money for sick children or cancer. That being said, Bruce Wayne would probably rather do a more upscale night for charity rather than promoting gambling.

But what if Bruce Wayne really wanted to gamble. Maybe batman wants to spin a slot wheel
or roll the dice. Well, he wouldn’t go to a real casino, would he? He has an image to uphold.
Underground gambling is certainly out of the question, although he could use it as an
opportunity to get intel on the joker or other villains of Gotham.

So, what are his options?

Top casinos and online gambling of course. It would make the most sense. If Bruce Wayne
were to gamble his fortune, it would have to be online.

Think about it. Suited up as Batman, sitting at the big computer in the bat cave spinning the
wheel on Easy Slots across 10 different screens. Having Alfred over his shoulder cheering
him on.

That would be the most likely way that Batman would gamble.

However, there are even more questions that have to be asked.

Batman’s Possible Usernames

If batman really did gamble, what would be his username?

He couldn’t use his real name of course so BruceWayne54 or any other variations of that are out the window.

However, it could be a way for him to secretly reveal his true identity as batman. He could
use the name Batman76 or I_Am_The_Batman or even BruceWayneIsBatman. Okay, that
last one would probably not be the most ideal choice.

Maybe he would just do a randomly generated name to remain completely anonymous.
The last question we must ask is…

What Games Would Batman Play?

If batman were to gamble online, would he be more of a slots kind of guy or poker? It seems
he may be more of a poker player, with his high intelligence and all, but Alfred would
definitely be into new slot games.

Although it is up for debate, it is hard to say whether Bruce Wayne would truly want to
gamble. If he did though, it would more than likely be t
hrough online casinos.

Coolest Batman Collectibles

Coolest Batman Collectibles

Bursting into the scene way back in 1939, DC Comics’ Batman just celebrated its 78th anniversary, and he is more popular than ever.  Batman collectibles are some of the coolest items you could ever own.  Especially when they are in mint condition, Batman collectibles are also worth a lot of money.

If you’re a fan of the Caped Crusader or the Dark Knight, or whatever you know him as – this article is for you.  We have made a list of some of the coolest Batman collectibles that you can get your hands on.

1.      Batman Animated Expressions 01

This fun collectible allows you to put interchangeable heads on the Caped Crusader, and as you put a whole new face on Batman, his expressions change.  Aside from the interchangeable heads, it comes with a 6” tall Batman action figure. This quirky collectible is appealing to both young and old, and also comes with interchangeable gloves and other weapons.

DC Comics Multiverse Batman Zero Year Action Figure

This 6” Batman Zero year action figure has highly-detailed paint and iconic elements based on the DC Comics version of Batman. Since this Batman looks exactly like the one in the comic books, so it is an ideal gift for someone who is a fan of the DC version.
         Arkham Asylum Poker Set

If you love playing online poker and exciting poker games such as Texas Holdem and Omaha Hi Lo on 888poker, then you will surely love this Batman villains-inspired poker set. What could be cooler than playing your favorite game with characters from Batman’s Rogues Gallery?   Playing poker with the Arkham Asylum Poker set adds a bit of flair to an already fun game.

4.      1966 TV Series Classic Batman Batmobile

The Batmobile from the TV series classic is actually patterned after a real car, the 1955 Lincoln Futura. This die cast model car brings nostalgia to a die-cast collector. This measures approximately 5 inches long and made of premium die-cast metal material. The Batmobile has never looked cooler.

5.      DC Collectibles Batman: The Animated Series Batwing Vehicle

This collectible is based on the Emmy Award-winning Batman: The Animated Series.  It features a retractable landing gear and slide-open cockpit canopy. It fits two action figures inside. This sleek Batwing also has battery-powered interior lights and slide-open cockpit canopy, which is so much fun to tinker with. If you’re a fan of the animated series, then this is an ideal purchase.

6.      The Batman Chess Set (The Dark Knight vs. The Joker)

This chess set is based on the Warner Brothers movie version of Batman. Its details are quite remarkable. It includes Batman, Batgirl, the Bat Signal, the Batmobile, The Joker, Harley Quinn, and others.  The pieces are made of solid plastic, between 2 to 4 inches in height.  The chess board is made of durable, heavy cardboard. The Joker is one of my favorite Batman nemeses, and having them battle on a chess board is a unique and slightly jarring experience. This is a collection worth having for chess enthusiasts and Batman fans alike.

7.      DC Collectibles Batman: The Animated Series with Deluxe Batmobile

Based on the acclaimed animated series, this amazing set which includes the Batmobile, Batman, Robin, and the Bat Signal will surely delight collectors and fans. The Batmobile has light-up headlights, brakes, and engine. It also has independently-moving wheels. The two action figures are approximately 6” tall and have cloth capes. The Bat Signal glows from behind like a nightlight but does not cast a logo on the wall. This is the Batman of my childhood, and one of the most valuable parts of my collection because it holds so much meaning and so many memories.  I especially love Robin wearing the yellow, red, and green suit – you don’t see that on screen anymore.

8.      A Set of Joker Playing Cards

One of the most interesting villains in the Batman Universe, the Joker is artfully depicted in playing card version.  These three tongue-in-cheek Joker playing cards feature the three different reincarnations of The Joker, all equally menacing, and all depict great artwork. All from Aquarius, a leading Amazon retailer of toys and games, these three Joker cards feature the following: DC Comics Joker Retro, DC Comics Joker (the current version), and The Joker Heath Ledger Playing Cards. All 52 cards from each set have different images, measuring 2.5 x 3.5 inches.  These officially licensed cards have a linen-type finish for maximum durability. These three playing cards are also sold separately, but if you’re a fan of this nemesis, you wouldn’t be able to resist buying them all.

9.      The Dark Knight S.H. Figuarts Bat-Pod

The Bat-Pod as depicted in The Dark Knight Trilogy is one of the coolest vehicles that Batman has ever used.  This Bat-Pod can be ridden by the S.H. Figuarts Batman action figure, which is sold separately.  It contains many cool features.  For instance, the chassis of this Bat-Pod can expand in length, and its tires roll. The box also contains 3 pairs of optional hands, an EMP Blaster, and a Stand.

1.      Batman Tactical Batsuit Version

Based on the movie Justice League, this very detailed and meticulously-crafted Tactical Batsuit is a sixth-scale figure that is crafted based on the image of Ben Affleck as Batman/Bruce Wayne. The suit has 3 interchangeable eyepieces and 3 lower faces capturing various facial expressions. There are also two interchangeable goggles and an array of weapons including three batarangs, three bat grenades, and grappling hooks. There are also seven pieces of interchangeable gloved hands including one pair of fists, one pair of relaxed hands, one pair of hands for holding weapons, and one right hand for holding the Batarang. The costume is also very detailed with one specially-tailored Batsuit with gray-colored armor plates and dark gray-colored straps with golden hooks. There is also one utility belt and one newly-tailored black cape. This figure comes with a Justice League elevating platform.
